Program Description
Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is designed to prepare students to become effective nurse clinicians capable of sound clinical judgment in a variety of healthcare settings and in the community. The curriculum blends natural and behavioral sciences with the science of nursing and integrates theory with clinical practice to support critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The BSN program enhances the career goals of students through professional study and provides an in-depth exploration of evidence-based practices. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for registered nurses.

Curriculum Overview
The BSN curriculum includes coursework in anatomy and physiology, chemistry, psychology, sociology, nutrition, microbiology, legal and ethical issues, communication, critical thinking, research methods, nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, health assessment, medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric nursing, maternity and newborn care, pediatric nursing, community health nursing, geriatric care, informatics, quality and safety, advocacy, public policy, leadership, and capstone study.
The program is designed to be completed in 36 months, though the length of time may vary depending on transfer credits and whether the student studies part-time or full-time.
